Technical Fixes and Delays

Developer Owlcat, in an announcement on the game's Steam page, revealed that Void Shadows, originally slated for release in August, will now debut in September. The delay aims to address technical issues within the expansion, ensuring a smoother gaming experience for players.

The developers expressed their commitment to enhancing the game's technical quality before release. They emphasized their dedication to developing Void Shadows with extensive effort, expressing excitement about the new features while acknowledging the need for further refinement.

Exploring Void Shadows

Void Shadows immerses players in managing a colossal void ship, akin to a mobile civilization. Threatened by Genestealers-sinister parasitic creatures capable of swift domination-the expansion promises intense strategic gameplay. Additionally, players can anticipate the introduction of Kibellah, a Death Cult Assassin, as a new companion and potential romantic interest, adding depth to the narrative.

According to an interview with executive producer Anatoly Shestov, Void Shadows will enrich Rogue Trader with approximately 15 hours of additional gameplay. Players will have opportunities to expand and upgrade their void ships while combating the formidable Tyranid threat.
