When fighting against other armies, your fighters will have to be equipped with the best armor and weapons that you can craft to ensure a high chance of victory. In this regard, having powerful weapons is crucial to ending a fight quickly and minimizing losses.

This guide aims to help Manor Lords players figure out how to make weapons and what is needed to craft them.

Manor Lords features a variety of weapons, including spears, sidearms, and even warbows, the latter of which is useful due to being a ranged option. But in order to get weapons, you must first level up your Burgage Plots to Level 2, according to Eurogamer.

After reaching Level 2, you will gain access to the extra Backyard Extensions that would be needed to produce all types of different weapons. In order to level up your Burgage Plots, you will need to have some buildings near them.

These are a Well, a Wooden Church, and a Marketplace with 1x Fuel Stall, 2x Food Stalls, and 1x Clothing Stall. One thing that some players may have trouble with is satisfying the Marketplace's Fuel Stall requirement as you will have to build either a Woodcutter's Lodge or a Charcoal Kiln.

In regards to the Food Stalls, you will need buildings that can produce Berries, Meat, Bread, Eggs, Vegetables, Apples, or Honey. An easy way to tick this requirement off in the early game is building the Forager's Hut and Hunting Camp.

Leveling Up Burgage Plots

The backyard extensions that you gain access to after leveling your Burgage Plots to Level 2 including the Blacksmith's Workshop and the Fletcher's Workshop. These are responsible for producing general weapons and war bows, respectively, said ScreenRant.

When you reach this stage, you will discover that Planks easily rank as the most valuable resource that you need when you want to make weapons. This means that constructing a Logging Camp nearby will be crucial to keeping a steady supply of equipment.

If you are in dire need of weapons but haven't yet upgraded your Burgage Plots, you can instead establish a trade route to sell your excess resources in exchange for weapons. While this is a convenient way of getting weapons, it is fairly expensive due to the large fee needed to set up a trade route in the first place, according to Rock Paper Shotgun.

Another thing that is worth noting is that each of the Workshop Extensions will automatically convert the inhabitants of that Burgage Plot into Artisans. This means that they will be locked out from performing other jobs in your settlement. You have to think about which personnel will be affected.
