Ultimate Exoprimal Beginner's Guide To Blasting Away Prehistoric Dinosaurs

Exoprimal is a PvP third-person mech shooter that features waves and waves of dinosaur enemies that need to be defeated simultaneously.

This beginner's guide helps newcomers learn the foundations of the game so they can blast their way through the sea of prehistoric creatures. The gameplay can be confusing at times and adding to that are various strategies and tricks that can be used.

In Exoprimal, players have a choice of a variety of exosuits as well as other options to take on enemy players and dinosaurs. In order for you to survive, your team will have to adapt on the fly and win your matches.

In Exoprimal, wearing the right exosuit for a particular situation can spell the difference between victory and defeat. To this end, there are some flexible characters that you can swap between at any time during a match so you can keep your advantage.

There are three roles in the game; Assault, Tank, and Support, which all focus on different aspects such as dealing damage, drawing enemy attacks, or repairing or applying additional effects to allies and enemies, according to ScreenRant.

Changing the Battlefield

In Exoprimal, any player has the ability to craft objects that they can place inside the battlefield while still in combat. This would allow for different assets to assist you or another exosuit on your team.

These include structures such as Walls, Platforms, and Turrets that will help in various ways depending on the match type that is being played. You should also keep an eye on hindering opposing teams through Dominators or Dinosaur Upgrades.

The former allows your team to take control of a dinosaur yourself to gain an upper hand in the battle. The latter on the other hand will strengthen all the dinosaurs fighting an enemy team if you defeat a Neosaur.

Keep Using Your Abilities

While saving your abilities for a crucial moment is a good idea, it sometimes is a waste as you are not actively helping yourself or your team. For the majority of the game, it is better to use your abilities to their fullest potential.

This is even more true for core abilities as they recharge very quickly and will almost always be ready for the next mission. You can also cycle through these abilities as often as possible to maximize their benefits, said TheGamer.

Keep an Eye on Your Objective

Each combat stage of a match in Exoprimal has a specific goal, such as killing a number of certain dinosaurs in the area. However, the game itself will spawn more prehistoric creatures than you need to defeat, particularly among basic raptors.

You should prioritize your actual targets as there is a time limit that you need to be aware of. When dealing with the stronger dinosaurs, such as triceratops or carnotaurs, damage-dealing exosuits should be the ones to face them head-on.

Monitor Your Radar

Your radar, which is essentially the map, shows a lot of useful information that you should take advantage of during a match. This is because speed is crucial in the game which means you should try your best to engage dinosaurs just as they appear.

Whenever a new wave of dinosaurs spawn, Leviathan will announce it and the spawn location will appear as a red circle on the radar, according to HyperX.
