Closed Beta Details and New Content
One of the highlights of this beta phase is the introduction of a new map called Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands. This addition expands the game's universe and promises new strategic opportunities for players. Alongside the new map, two additional heroes will join the roster: Venom and Adam Warlock.
Venom, known for his strength and agility, will serve as a tank with unique abilities involving his symbiote, while Adam Warlock will fulfill a support role with healing capabilities and the ability to revive teammates.
Cross-Play and Platform Availability
Marvel Rivals' closed beta will support cross-play functionality, allowing players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to join forces seamlessly. This move aims to unite the player base across different platforms, enhancing the multiplayer experience without platform restrictions.
For those eager to participate, signups are currently open. Console players can register through a questionnaire, while PC players can request access via the Marvel Rivals page on Steam. Participants who reached level 10 in the closed alpha automatically qualify for beta access, while newcomers can sign up for a chance to join.
