A Mortal Kombat 1 leak allegedly reveals the popular fighting game's six upcoming DLC characters who will be available for players to use at some point in the future.
The supposed leak came from a data miner who has a history of accurately unveiling new characters ahead of their official announcements. The rumored characters coming to Mortal Kombat 1 include Conan the Barbarian and the T-1000 from the Terminator films.
Mortal Kombat 1 Leak
Mortal Kombat 1 is a reboot that was released in September 2023 and is sort of a sequel to Mortal Kombat 11. Similar to previous games in the franchise, the latest title features a roster of characters who face off against each other to the death. Some of these battles end with show-stopping finishers.
The game also has DLC characters and the Kombat Pack 1 added Omni Man from Invincible, Homelander from The Boys, and many other new fighters. However, that particular DLC wraps up next month with Takeda and fans are excited to see who else could be coming soon, according to Kotaku.
The data miner and content creator behind the leak, Interloko, previously found new content within Mortal Kombat 1's files. He recently uploaded a new video detailing evidence of the six new DLC characters that could be added to the game in the future.
For the crossover characters, they are the T-1000, Conan the Barbarian, and Ghostface from the Scream film franchise. For the returning Mortal Kombat fighters, these are Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot.

The data miner's leak lines up with some of the previous leaks and rumors about Mortal Kombat 1 characters. For example, others have previously found references to Ghostface in the game's files. Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon also teased the character on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In that particular tease, Boon posted an image that showed a number of famous horror villains, including Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Leatherface. All of these characters have green ticks as they have already appeared as guest character in Mortal Kombat in the past, said IGN.
Possible DLC Characters
However, some of the villains instead had a question mark, which got fans' attention and included Michael Myers, Pinhead, Chucky, Jigsaw, and Ghostface. On one hand, Conan the Barbarian's inclusion in the game fits with its brutal playstyle and gore nature.
Furthermore, the addition of the T-1000 could also bring the voice of actor Robert Patrick as Reptile actor Andrew Morgado mistakenly revealed that Patrick had done T-1000 voice work for Mortal Kombat.
Other than the potential DLC characters, data miner Interloko also said that they found evidence of two new arenas and five new announcers. The latter are Havik, Noob Saibot, Ghostface, Conan, and T-1000.
While there has been no official confirmation of a Kombat Pack 2, many players have speculated that there is more DLC on the way for Mortal Kombat 1.
The latest leak comes as previous ones suggested that Harley Quinn, Deathstroke, and Doomslayer would be coming next for the popular fighting game, according to GameRant.
