Riviera: The Promised Land Gets Remastered Release Date for PC

Sting, the developer behind Riviera: The Promised Land, has announced the official release date for its remastered version on PC. Gamers worldwide can mark their calendars for July 17, when the game will debut on Steam with support for both English and Japanese languages.

Expanding Availability and Enhancements

Initially released on Nintendo Switch in February and subsequently on iOS and Android in May, the remastered edition has until now been exclusively in Japanese. This PC release marks a significant expansion, making the game accessible to a broader audience globally.

The remastered version promises enhanced gameplay features and visual upgrades. According to details shared on its Steam page, Riviera: The Promised Land boasts improved ease of play with added conveniences. It features a unique battle system where players' abilities hinge on the items they possess, alongside a favorability system influenced by player choices.

New Features and Improvements

Among the new features are options to adjust gameplay speed up to 5x faster, skip events, and switch between different audio tracks, offering flexibility for players to tailor their experience. The remaster also includes over 90 illustrations in high-definition, enhancing the visual storytelling of the game.

The developers have focused on making the game more accessible and user-friendly with updates like an auto-save function and adjustable difficulty levels. These improvements aim to cater to both newcomers and seasoned players of Riviera: The Promised Land.
