The full version 1.0 of the game came out on Steam three years after it was first released in early access. Throughout its run, Gladiator Guild Manager had a very positive user rating and felt like a unique combination of Football Manager and Dungeons & Dragons.

The game is a management game that is set in a stunningly beautiful fantasy realm where players will recruit, train, and equip a team of warriors, mages, necromancers, and more.

You will have to start small and your objective is to prepare your squad to fight in the big leagues and conquer the land's most prestigious tournaments.

The developer behind Gladiator Guild Manager, Entertainment Forge, is currently putting the game up on Steam for 50% off its original price. This makes it a lot cheaper for people who want to dive into it for the first time.

The studio said that last year, they almost released the game in full but decided against it to add and polish a few things first. While that delay took 10 months, it included time to add many requested features that made Gladiator Guild Manager much better than it previously was.

The game spent six years in development and Entertainment Forge said that it learned a lot throughout that time, particularly, listening to their audience. The studio said that players gave them so much good feedback that helped them shape Gladiator Guild Manager into a better game.

Take Your Guild to the Championships

In Gladiator Guild Manager, players can level up their group of gladiators to take on bigger and tougher tournaments. You also have to manage your finances and resources out of combat to gear up your troops efficiently, said GameRant.

When you choose gladiators before every fight, you will be able to position them on your side of the field and also instruct their behavior and which enemies to prioritize. After clicking start, the battle will play out on its own, hence the auto battler part, and you will see the results of your strategy.

You can keep a close watch on your enemy, understand their actions, and figure out how to best them if you come out on the short end of the stick. Your main goal is to win the arena championships and make a name for your guild.

As you keep going through the campaign, you will be able to build new types of buildings that will subsequently let you hire new types of gladiators. These will let you build distinct teams that can take on any other combatants in the arenas.

Each gladiator will have their own traits that will determine their bonuses and additional abilities, which you can use to the fullest depending on what you need. You can also upgrade these traits to strengthen your gladiators, according to Steam.
