Crafting Unique Brews

In Ale Abbey, players can explore over 20 different European beer styles. The game allows for a high level of customization, with players adjusting equipment, quantities, and temperatures to create unique brews. According to the developers, there are no pre-made recipes, so players must experiment to find the perfect blend. They can choose to age their beer or sell it at the market.

Building and Defending the Monastery

Players will also need to manage and expand their monastery. This includes digging underground cellars and constructing various facilities like living quarters, refectories, libraries, and offices. The game includes elements of strategy, as players must appease local lords, befriend neighboring abbeys, and fend off bandit attacks.

Ale Abbey was featured at the PC Gaming Show, showcasing its charming mix of brewing and monastery management. While it doesn't have a set release date yet, the developers aim to launch it on Steam in late 2024.
