Video game publisher Raw Fury shared a new trailer that unveiled a fall 2024 release window for its upcoming horror survival game Post Trauma.
The latest trailer was shared during the 2024 Guerrilla Interactive Showcase for the upcoming title that was first revealed during The Game Awards 2022. Post Trauma is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Post Trauma Gets Fall Release Window
Players were shown a glimpse of new footage from the atmospheric horror throwback that was developed by Red Soul Games, which is a Spanish independent video game studio. With the release of the first teaser, the studio teased a look at some of the game's retro-inspired puzzles and settings.
But the latest trailer also featured some dialogue and provided more clues about Post Trauma's story. Players will take control of Roman, who is a train conductor who suddenly gets trapped in a grimy, disturbing world, and must do everything he can to escape.
The Steam page for Post Trauma also questions whether or not you will be able to "uncover the truth and find a way back to your family?" Fortunately, you will not be alone as the latest trailer also showed some other characters who have also found themselves trapped, according to DigitalTrends.
In the new video, you can hear a voice scream, "You think you can escape what you have done?" The publisher, Raw Fury, also revealed that Japanese character actor Togo Igawa will be playing Roman while Autumn Ivy and Hyoie O'Grady will play still-unnamed characters.

The game is described as a "horror game inspired by genre-defining classics of the past decades." Many players will most likely see that Post Trauma has apparent Silent Hill vibes with its third-person view.
This can also be seen with its degraded locations featuring organic-looking horrors, monsters that look like disfigured humans, and a hell-like environment.
The trailers for Post Trauma also showed a number of puzzles that some players have likened to those found in the Silent Hill franchise, the Resident Evil games, and many others.
In order to complete the upcoming game, you will have to guide Roman through uncanny environments and past disturbing creatures.
Taking Inspiration From Horror Classics
You will also have to navigate various puzzles along the way as you travel between unusual and bizarre locations. All of these must be done while dealing with nightmarish creatures that are focused on keeping your character from escaping their world, said GameRant.
Red Soul Games and Raw Fury have been spending the past few years working on Post Trauma to deliver it to players later this year. The title is already making impressions with its displays of horror and unusual storytelling.
Some of the monsters that are included in Post Trauma include creatures with massive heads made of various body parts, crates that crawl like spiders, walls of monitors, gigantic hands, and many others.
The latest trailer also suggested that Roman himself has a dark secret to hide, which is something that is reminiscent of other horror classics. This can be attributed to its title, which suggests some form of trauma, according to HardcoreGamer.
