Progression Caution for Fireteams

Players embarking on the Final Shape campaign as part of a fireteam are advised to refrain from joining missions already in progress or swapping characters mid-campaign. This precaution is necessary to ensure that progress is accurately recorded without any disruptions.

Audio Playback Concerns

A notable issue highlighted by Bungie pertains to the game's compatibility with 3D audio. Currently, players utilizing 3D audio settings may encounter a lack of sound output during gameplay. As a temporary workaround, Bungie suggests disabling 3D audio settings, such as Windows Sonic for Headphones or Dolby Atmos, until a fix is implemented.

Additional Minor Issues

Several other minor bugs are expected to launch with the game, including placeholder art appearing instead of final assets and discrepancies in item and ability descriptions and the development team is actively working to resolve these issues.

The Final Shape expansion commenced after an extended downtime at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on June 4, with players given the opportunity to preload the new content during the downtime. Updates on the resolution of known issues will be provided through the Top Issues page following the expansion's launch. Furthermore, Bungie encourages players to report any encountered issues with the new content via its Help Forum.

Known Issues

Fireteam Progression: Players in fireteams should avoid joining missions in progress or swapping characters mid-campaign to ensure accurate progress tracking.

PC 3D Audio: PC players with 3D audio enabled may experience no audio output. To temporarily fix this, disable 3D audio settings like Windows Sonic for Headphones or Dolby Atmos in Windows Spatial Sound settings.
