Steam Open World Survival Crafting Fest: What Games on Sale Can You Get?

Steam's Open World Survival Crafting Fest is currently live and will last until June 3, 2024, and features a variety of titles in the genre that you can get much cheaper than usual.

The new sale comes as there are only a few weeks left until the end of Steam's Summer Sale and many would probably think that Valve is going to take its foot off the gas with discounts.

However, you would be wrong to think so as the latest Steam Fest is a celebration of games that feature exploration as well as resource gathering and management.

Steam's latest sale affects various survival classics, such as Terraria, Rust, and No Man's Sky, which are all up for sale for $5, $20, and $30 respectively. These prices mark the cheapest that these three games have been in the last two years.

Some of the more recent survival crafting titles are also getting a part of the sale as Pacific Drive, which is a supernatural survival driver released in February, is getting a 20% discount.

Players who enjoy a more fantasy type of game can get Enshrouded, which was released in early access in January, for $24, according to PCGamer.

Another game that may not have had much time in the spotlight is Kenshi, which is right now 60% off and only costs $12. While it is not nearly as classic as some of the other titles, it is still an excellent survival RPG sandbox that mixes the worlds of Fallout and Morrowind.

Other than sales on a variety of video games, Steam's Open World Survival Crafting Fest also brings a demo for Aska ahead of the game's early access in June. In this game, players can experience a world that Valheim could have been if its Vikings understood the importance of delegating tasks.

A Variety of Games on Sale

Some of the fan-favorite games that are also part of the latest Steam fest include The Long Dark, discounted by 50%, Valheim, discounted by 50%, and Project Zomboid, discounted by 33%.

There are also titles that are under $10, including The Forest and Necesse that can get you into the genre for a cheap cost, said GamingOnLinux.

Steam's Open World Survival Crafting Fest also highlights just how popular the genre has become in the past few years. There have been a variety of open-world survival crafting titles that have been released recently that explore a variety of settings, such as medieval and outer space.

Subnautica is also on sale right now and this game is able to set itself apart from other survival games. In it, players find themselves crash-landed on an alien world that is covered in water and you will have to race against time in the beginning to find drinkable water, food, and oxygen.

Another title, Medieval Dynasty, is able to elevate its appeal beyond other games that look and feel similar. The game is played in the typical first-person perspective and tasks you with establishing a small holding in the Middle Ages, according to Dexerto.
