The game will launch on PC via the game's website and mobile platforms and more than 3 million players have already pre-registered to download it. Tarisland will feature multiple classes and specializations.

You can choose one out of nine different classes, including Warriors, Mages, and Priests, that each have their own unique abilities. Each one also has two specialized paths that you can master for even more distinction from other players.

After feedback from Western players, the developer decided to slowly roll out gender-unlocked classes starting with Mages and Paladins. Tarisland also has a flexible talent system where you can craft your own unique playstyle using its talent tree system, according to WCCFTech.

You will also be able to team up with fellow adventurers to take on epic bosses and overcome unique game mechanics in intense cooperative raids.

In the game's Season 0, there will be five dungeons, eight 10-player raid bosses, and multiple PvE modes such as the Arcane Realm, Universal Hall, and Dark Invasion.

The game also features a vast open world where you can uncover the secrets of Tarisland's massive realm that is filled with puzzles, adventures, and unique gameplay experiences.

What's also worth noting is that the game features cross-platform compatibility, which means that you can experience the thrill of raid progression across mobile and PC devices.

The launch trailer for Tarisland showed off the game's final boss at launch, which is the Blight Dragon that is covered in impenetrable scales. This massive creature has a wingspan that is nearly 200 meters and was the first dragon hatched in the universe and is considered an unstoppable force.

Competing Against Other MMORPGs

Tarisland is seemingly positioning itself to compete with the best games in the genre, including World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail. The game has also gone so far as to hire one of World of Warcraft's best secret weapons, Russell Brower, said PCGamesN.

He is a legendary composer who is renowned for his work on other highly popular games, including Diablo 3, Overwatch, and Starcraft. The team has also been working on short-term improvements ahead of the official launch as well as long-term improvements via developer updates.

There will also be a global technical test that will be held this week and as we approach the official launch, there will be various pre-launch campaigns and reveals. This includes a web event that is known as "Unveil Your Role: Class Quest in Tarisland," according to MMORPG.

Tarisland's release comes as the MMORPG genre has been dominated by World of Warcraft for years and continues to be the most popular game in the genre. But with Tencent's backing, the new game could actually become a worthy challenger in the big leagues.
