Publisher Microids and developer Blazing Griffin announced Arsene Lupin: Once a Thief, revealing that the upcoming adventure game will be released late in 2024 and be available on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
The upcoming title is a mystery game that is said to offer players an immersive journey into the world of the iconic gentleman burglar. Arsene Lupin: Once a Thief gives you a chance to experience "iconic tales drawn from the work of Maurice Leblanc to discover how the legend was forged."

The narrative of the game unfolds through captivating fireside conversations between Arsene Lupin and the author, Maurice Leblanc. The gentleman-burglar recounts his past exploits to Leblanc, which allows players to actively participate in the renowned escapades.
Arsene Lupin: Once a Thief is also an adventure puzzle game that lets players dive into a captivating journey that explores the early life, loves, and crimes of the iconic character. You can relive the famous tales and play as both Lupin and Detective Ganimard, according to NintendoEverything.
Detective Ganimard is Lupin's tireless antagonist and his being playable offers unique perspectives on legendary stories such as "The Arrest of Arsene Lupin" and "Herlock Sholmes Arrives Too Late."

The announcement of Arsene Lupin: Once a Thief comes after the publisher also revealed what is coming next for its other game, The Smurfs - Dreams. This is an upcoming platform adventure title that was designed to be enjoyed by the whole family.
Game lead at the studio Ocellus Services, Michael Duport, said that it will reunite players with the Smurfs' little village and their old enemy, Gargamel. The latter is now determined to snatch the heroes in order to turn them into magic potions.
He is accompanied by his cat Azrael as he devises a new evil scheme, which is to cast a spell on the Smurfs' sarsaparilla bushes. This will send them into a slumber if they eat the leaves. Fortunately, Papa Smurf is one of the few who did not consume the leaves.
He turns to his books and discovers that he will have to dive into the dreams of the sleeping Smurfs in order to wake them from their cursed slumber and save the village. To do this, Papa Smurf sets up a huge pillow as a gateway for players to enter the dream world, according to Microids.
