Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Tips and Tricks for Beginners

Ubisoft released Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown earlier this year and has captivated fans of the franchise with its stunning visuals and excellent gameplay.

When you start the game, you will have two options for difficulty to choose from, Exploration Mode and Guided Mode. The second one is designed for newer players or those who don't want too much challenge for their first playthrough, according to Polygon.

On the other hand, the first option gives players minimal direction as to where they need to go for story missions and side quests. This makes it a lot more difficult if this is your first run in the game.

Keep an Eye Out for Bonus Tutorials

Bonus tutorials are available in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown that can be found even after the initial tutorial stage. All of these help you learn new tricks while also giving you free money. Artaban can be found in the Haven and can be talked to.

He will offer a series of lessons that expand on the moves that you have learned in the initial tutorial of the game. These provide useful information that you may have missed, such as being able to parry projectiles or string combos together using your bow.

Making Use of Shadows

Players are able to use the Shadow of the Simurg power that is unlocked in the Depths to leave behind a marker that they can teleport back to at any point. This is a power that is needed to complete certain puzzles later on, said GamesRadar

However, it can also be used as a mobile checkpoint or an escape route for dangerous situations that you find yourself in. You can also leave a shadow before attempting a deadly platforming sequence so you can fall back on it if you fail.

Unlock the Map

In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the map is not available from the beginning and you have to unlock it piece by piece through exploration. However, a workaround for this is that you can buy each Biome's missing map from the young girl known as Fariba.

When you discover a new location, keep an eye out for colorful flags and rugs in the corner that signal Fariba's whereabouts. You can also keep an ear open as she enjoys humming Persian songs.

Be Skeptical of Walls

Another thing to keep in mind is that each Biome has multiple secret rooms with some requiring special keys and others being unlocked through puzzles. The majority of these are hidden behind fake walls.

What you need to do is strike a suspicious wall once or twice in order to access the treasure-filled secret vault. Having the Prosperity Bird by your side also makes it easier to find these hidden locations as she starts singing when you get close to one, according to GameRant.
