Probably the most important thing coming with the new season is the introduction of Striker and Sentry, the two new Operators that were modeled on the "Recruit" persona in Rainbow Six.

The two characters are highly customizable and were designed to be "introductory Operators" and are described as "Swiss-Army Knife" characters.

This means that they will not have unique abilities but will have a set of gadgets and weapons that can be used to remain flexible. Ubisoft also confirmed that the in-game Marketplace will finally go live with some prerequisites, according to Insider Gaming.

The Marketplace will only be available to players with 2FA activated and a LL25 account. The new season also buffs onboarding and training elements. There will be a new "Endless Drill" mechanic that will let players warm up more effectively before going into their matches.

Similarly, the video game company is making Rainbow Six Siege's ecosystem much more reliable and welcoming. This is being done by boosting the anti-cheat and player protection systems, such as pairing with Steam and using the VAC ban mechanics.

With regards to balancing, the latest season will make both Fenrir and Solis hit relatively hard compared to other Operators. These two characters will have their gadgets switched out and their abilities changed. One example is Fenrir's F-NATTs only having two charges and Solis' goggles being unavailable in Prep.

Operation New Blood

On top of the gameplay changes, Rainbow Six Siege's Operation New Blood season will also introduce a new membership system. This is to award players who are enrolled with unique cosmetics, legendary bundles, and many more, said Siege.GG.

The new membership system will be a monthly program where players receive their respective prizes by the end of the month.

You can enroll in this new system between June 11 and June 27 for Operation New Blood. On top of this, those who enroll between June 11 and June 18 will get a unique Ash bundle and 600 R6 Credits.

The first membership program will also include the Mozzie Epic Bundle, 10 Battle Level Skips, and one Bravo Pack.

Furthermore, they will also get a legendary weapon skin for Warden and when players enroll in the three parts of the new season's membership program, they can complete Warden's legendary bundle.

The latest season for Rainbow Six Siege is set to launch on June 11, 2024, and is the second operation of the game in its 9th year of running. There are also some changes to the map pool that will be implemented to help improve the overall gaming experience in the game, according to Sportskeeda.
