What is Driftsmelting?

Driftsmelting operates on a simple principle: using a resource called Driftstone, players can upgrade their equipment to gain random bonuses. However, not all gear supports driftsmelting, so players need to ensure their equipment is compatible.

Once you have the right gear, the process is straightforward. Players initiate driftsmelting on the equipment of their choice and then start moving. Yes, you read that right - walking is a key part of the process. Alternatively, players can opt for the insta-smelt solution for a quicker upgrade, albeit at a cost.

Preparing for New Challenges

This enhancement comes at a crucial time, as Monster Hunter Now has hinted at the arrival of formidable foes in the upcoming summer update. Among them are the ancient Elder Dragons, creatures so ancient they challenge the established lore of the Monster Hunter universe.

As the days lengthen and temperatures rise, fans of Monster Hunter now can expect to see a surge in activity as they gear up to tackle these formidable adversaries.
