Picross Returns to Switch with Retro-Themed Namco Legendary Edition : Games : Gamenguide

The beloved puzzle series Picross is coming back to the Nintendo Switch this month. Developer Jupiter is teaming up with Bandai Namco to release Picross S: Namco Legendary Edition on May 30. This new game will bring a retro twist, featuring many classic arcade titles from Namco.

Classic Arcade Games Meet Picross Puzzles

Picross S: Namco Legendary Edition combines the popular puzzle gameplay of Picross with themes from Namco's famous arcade games. Players use number clues to fill in squares on a grid and reveal a picture. This time, the pictures come from Namco's classic games like Pac-Man, Dig Dug, and Galaga.

The game includes a total of 585 puzzles. There are 150 standard Picross puzzles, 150 Mega Picross puzzles, and five Clip Picross puzzles, which are made up of 50 smaller puzzles each. Additionally, players can enjoy 30 Color Picross puzzles and a five-puzzle Extra mode.

Release Date and Price

Picross S: Namco Legendary Edition will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop starting May 30. It will cost £9.89 in the UK, €10.99 in Europe, and $10.99 in the US.
