SteelSeries just launched a Destiny 2-themed gaming accessory collection ahead of the release of Bungie's The Final Shape expansion to its highly popular shooter.
The latest collaboration collection includes a special edition variant of the Arctis Nova 7 wireless headset and several other accessories that players can use to customize other SteelSeries headsets, keyboards, and other gadgets.
SteelSeries Collaborates With Destiny 2
Typically, limited edition SteelSeries products sell out relatively quickly, so Destiny 2 fans should grab them as early as they can. This is particularly true because the game's The Final Shape expansion is set to release on June 4, 2024, which is expected to generate more hype for anything related to the game.
The headliner device included in the limited edition SteelSeries collection is the Arctis Nova 7 wireless gaming headset. This particular item sports all the same specs as the standard Nova 7 wireless model, including the 2.4GHz and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
It also has a second-generation Clearcast mic as well as a comfortable head strap design but adds unique earcaps and head straps based on Destiny 2: The Final Shape's key art, according to GameSpot.
The limited edition Arctis Nova 7 is available in PlayStation and Xbox-specific models that each cost $220 at the SteelSeries and Bungie online stores.
The two models both work on PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile. It also comes with the Viral Celebration emote and Gear Head emblem in-game items for Bungie's Destiny 2.

For those who already own an Arctis Nova 7 or Nova Pro headset, another item included in the collection, the $40 Nova booster pack, will let you customize it. This includes the Destiny 2: The Final Shape-themed head strap and earcaps from the special edition headset.
The special edition QcK heavy mousepad is also part of the limited edition collection and similar to other QcK mousepads, it was designed for fast, smooth mouse movements. The item itself measures 35.5 inches wide and 15.75 inches deep and is only two millimeters tall and can be bought for $50.
Destiny 2-Themed Gaming Accessories
Another thing to note about the headset included in this collection is that it has a battery life that is rated at 38 hours and offers a fast charge function that promises six hours of use after only a 15-minute charge time, said HardcoreGamer.
The Arctic Nova headset is also equipped with the ComfortMax System which has four points of adjustability and breathable AirWeave Memory Foam cushions. Another item in the collection is the KontrolFreek Performance Thumbsticks.
The limited edition collection series comes ahead of Destiny 2's The Final Shape expansion as the game continues its recovery from various issues from the early Lightfall era. So far, Bungie has proven that it is still able to bring that spark that made its shooter one of the best live-service titles currently available.
Previously, the game's Into The Light content already gave the community a taste of what Destiny 2 can be and achieve when Bungie takes player feedback into account. These include the tower defense/horse mode and Superblack making a comeback, according to GameRant.
