The standard edition of Card-en-Ciel will cost roughly $32 and the limited edition is priced at roughly $70. The latter also includes a copy of the game, an art book, a three-disc soundtrack CD, and an acrylic Anciekeychain.

The standard and limited physical editions will also have the recently announced Divine Dynamo Flamefrit as a bonus addition. On top of announcing the release date for the game, the developer also released a new trailer that details the gameplay players can expect to see in Card-en-Ciel, according to Gematsu.

In Card-en-Ciel, players will get to know the protagonist, Neon, who is a gaming detective on a journey to collect and battle with more than 300 cards on a deck-building RPG adventure.

You will have to travel through more than 10 different dungeons, earn character chards to strengthen your deck, and unlock new techniques to use in ever-expanding roguelite card battles.

There are also special "Muse Cards" in the game that add another layer to card battles in Card-en-Ciel. By activating powerful abilities with their songs, they can turn the tide of battle in the other direction and there are 50 vocal tracks included in this RPG.

Players can use hidden card "glitches" as well as enemies' attacks against them alongside the Muses' song abilities to perform satisfying, full-power combos from their distinct decks.

The developer is turning fantasy into reality by creating a playable version of a game that was invented for Card-en-Ciel, which is Divine Dynamo Flamefrit.

In the main Card-en-Ciel game, players will experience combat on 3x6 grids where you will have to use cards for attacks, movement, or special skills. Winning will grant you new usable cards for future battles, said NoisePixel.

The game also has a complete storyline with full English and Japanese voice options and all character cards are also voiced in both languages. This is an impressive feat as there are more than 300 cards in the game.

The story has Neon investigating why characters from various games are invading other virtual game worlds. Card-en-Ciel has multiple endings based on what choices the player will make throughout their playthrough.

In the world of the "full-dive" virtual reality game known as "Rust Tactics," the characters from other games came with wills of their own. Neon springs into action after a member of the dev team, Ancie, reaches out for help with the matter.

Inti Creates has had a hand in various titles working with Capcom over the last 25 years and is responsible for developing games in the Mega Man Zero series. It was also responsible for the Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge game that was released in 2003, according to RPG Fan.
