The team behind the popular horror game Dead by Daylight has dropped a mysterious hint at a possible collaboration with Dungeons & Dragons (D&D). Behavior Interactive and 505 Games, the developers and publishers of Dead by Daylight, have recently announced a partnership with Wizards of the Coast, the company behind D&D.

Cryptic Clues Unveiled
In a brief video shared on the official Dead by Daylight X account, fans were tantalized with a cryptic message: "Listen closely to the voice in the darkness..."
While the video didn't explicitly confirm the collaboration, keen-eyed viewers speculated that the showcased monster could be a Spectator, a creature from D&D that also appeared in Baldur's Gate 3, or even a Beholder, a notable D&D monster depicted in the D&D Lego set. The suspenseful teaser concluded with the promise of more details to be unveiled on May 14.
Developer Update in the Works
Alongside the intriguing teaser, Dead by Daylight also announced that the May Developer Update is underway. This update aims to implement "balance changes and quality of life improvements" that will be tested in the 8.0.0 PTB (Public Test Build). Notably, these adjustments will impact various killers in the game, including The Good Guy and The Cannibal, among others.
