Bug Emergence After May Update
Shortly after the introduction of the Yoda back bling as part of the May 4 update, players started reporting a troublesome glitch. It appeared that when they combined the Yoda back bling with certain emotes, particularly one inspired by Zoidberg, the game would unexpectedly crash. This issue gained attention when iFireMonkey, a well-known Fortnite content creator, demonstrated the bug through a tweet.
Epic's Swift Action
Upon becoming aware of the problem, Epic Games acted promptly. Reports suggest that Epic was notified of the issue a day prior to iFireMonkey's video post. Responding to the matter, Epic Games posted on their official X account that they were aware of players experiencing game crashes when using the Yoda Gear Pack and promised to provide updates as the investigation progressed.
Following this acknowledgment, Epic Games took decisive action. They removed an entire shop role, which included not only the Yoda back bling but also other related items like the Disassembled C-3PO and the Dagobah Luke Bundle. Currently, there's no clear indication as to when these items, particularly Master Yoda and Dagobah Luke, will be reinstated into the game.
