Developer Infinity Ward recently teased some new DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts, and now they've finally unveiled it, and it's a lot more than what we had in mind.
Activision's trademark shooter is set to receive a whole new crop of personalization packs, but with a bit more Hollywood flair to it, courtesy of the izzle-master himself. As Snoop's a bit more of a wordsmith, I'll let him handle the details. Check out the video below:
There's more to the upcoming DLC besides just Snoop. Joining in on the voices is R. Lee Ermey, better known as the hard assed drill seargent Gunnery Sgt. Hartman from "Full Metal Jacket," easily the best insult master this side of Parris Island. Each voice pack goes for $2.99.
Now, onto the Personalization Packs ($1.99 each), starting with Snoop's favorite:
Deliver chronic lethality when you customize with the new Blunt Force Personalization Pack, complete with all-new themed camo, reticle, patch, playercard, and background.
Retrograde your customization options with the 1987 Personalization Pack. This radical makeover includes a righteous themed camo, reticle, patch, playercard, and background.
Your enemies will stare into the eyes of destruction with the Eyeballs Personalization Pack, containing an unblinking camo, reticle, patch, playercard, and background.
Protect your team with the help of the Heartlands Personalization Pack, providing customization in the form of a patterned camo, reticle, patch, playercard, and background.
Bring an authentic and high tech look to your customization options with the Hex Personalization Pack. Get a camo, as well as themed reticle, patch, playercard, and background.
Turn up the heat in every battle with the Molten Personalization Pack, containing a lava-hot camo and themed reticle, patch, playercard, and background.
Here's what the Modern Warfare fans were waiting for. Soap MacTavish returns in another Legends Pack, available for $3.99. Like other packs, it'll offer Soap as a multiplayer character, and uniquely themed weapon camo, reticle, patch, playercard, and background. And finally, there's an Extinction Squad Pack for $2.99, and Classic Ghost Pack for $1.99.
The various packs all drop later this month, April 22, as timed exclusives for Xbox platforms.
