Stellar Blade is getting a demo on Mar. 29 as players in the United Kingdom will be able to get discounts on pre-orders for developer Shift Up's latest title in the Spring Sales.
This demo would come shortly before the game's official launch next month for the PlayStation 5. Players can get up to over $12 in discount for a limited time using the code CHICK15 on eBay. The event includes brands or retailers such as Adidas, The Game Collection, Nike, ShopTo, Dell, Lenovo, and many others.
Stellar Blade Demo Ahead of Launch
The promo code will work until the end of the day on Mar. 29 and will give up to 15% off on nearly everything from trusted sellers. Other major deals for gamers are the critically acclaimed PS5 exclusive Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, alongside brand new offers on DualSense Controllers, and a bonus deal on Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League.
Players who lack a PS5 can also look for the relatively new PS5 Slim that dropped in price to less than $500 for Amazon Prime members in the Spring sale. Additionally, stocks of PS Portals have also started to appear at various online retailers, according to IGN.
The Stellar Blade demo will take place from the very start of the game when Eve, who is a member of the 7th Airborne Squad, is sent to Earth. She is on a mission to reclaim the planet from the Naytiba and the demo will include up to the first boss fight that players will encounter.

The first stage will include the tutorial phase to help familiarize players with the game's basic combat features as they explore post-war Eidos 7. This is a human city that has become infested by the Naytiba. The demo gives players an early grasp of the title's gameplay mechanics that serve them throughout the storyline.
Additionally, the game's Korean developer has a surprise story for players who manage to complete the first stage of the demo. Players who dive into the world of Stellar Blade will experience smooth 60fps combat and the haptics that are felt through the DualSense wireless controller.
A World Infested With Monsters
Upon completion of the demo stage, players can carry over their saved data to the full game after it is officially released on Apr. 26, 2024, starting from the last checkpoint. However, the developer noted that saved data must be stored on the person's PS5 system, said the PlayStation blog.
The game's development was initially announced by Shift Up in 2019 for current-gen consoles and the team features talent from the popular MMO Blade & Soul. However, it was not until 2021 that players got their first proper look at the tile during a PlayStation showcase where it was showcased alongside its former title, Project Eve.
The trailer showed a beautiful woman fighting a hybrid monster robot using a sword before being thrown through a wall. This development revealed that the setting of the match was actually in space.
The woman could be seen careening farther and farther from the station and it was shown that the monster was a much larger and creepier creature that had a lot of eyes and had grafted itself onto the facility from the outside. The trailer immediately hooked players and the footage only got more interesting after that, according to GameInformer.
