Now that Last Epoch has fully launched on Steam, developer Eleventh Hour Games is setting its sights on improving its ARPG with weekly updates.
All for Improvement
Despite cooking in Steam's Early Access for several years, Last Epoch's version 1.0 release was not a smooth one. This has resulted in a "Mixed" review on Steam, with some players citing that they were unable to play the game due to server issues.
While server stability has improved ever since, Eleventh Hour Games admits that there is still a lot of work to be done; all for the improvement of the game.
According to the company, it is looking to release new patches on a weekly basis to improve various aspects of the game, as well as apply bug fixes when needed.
Players are encouraged to use the in-game bug reporting tool when they encounter any issues as it is the most effective way of letting the Last Epoch development team know how to address them.
Aside from that, Eleventh Hour Games is going to make some enhancements to its backend architecture to boost server reliability. The company aims to improve scene-to-scene transition times, in-game chat stability, and snappier social services (like adding new friends).

What's to Come
With the version 1.0 release, Eleventh Hour Games has set its eyes on improving Last Epoch's endgame content. According to the company, players can expect some "pinnacle content" that provides a challenging yet rewarding experience in Patch 1.1.
The company added that it puts a major emphasis on player feedback, so smaller updates will be released leading to the launch of Patch 1.1. These minor updates include bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and anything in between.
In the long term, the company is looking to expand the monolith, add more boss content, bring great new itemization options, and introduce new classes.
Update on Console Ports
The company is going to port Last Epoch to PlayStation and Xbox consoles in the future. In the meantime, players can expect improvements to gamepad support, such as better navigation of certain panels in Patch 1.1.
