Season 6 of Battlefield 2042 has come to a close. But, players do not have to worry because they have something to do in an upcoming patch leading up to Season 7.
The Directive Returns
DICE is set to release Update 6.4.0 for Battlefield 2042 later this week. One of the highlights of this patch is the return of the Arkangel Directive.
For the uninitiated, the Arkangel Directive is a limited-time event in Battlefield 2042 where two teams of 24 players battle it out to take control of unsynced satellites scattered all over the map.
Players carry sensors that will sync with the satellites when they get close. Once they take control of a satellite, players must do their best to defend it against the members of the opposing team.
Those who will partake in the Arkangel Directive will earn Ascension Points, which players can use to earn some amazing vehicles!

Set the HUD
The company is also giving players the option to set the crosshair indicators for the Impact Point Crosshair. Players can choose between the Cross, Plus, and Circle indicators depending on their preference. Those who do not want a crosshair can also disable it entirely in the options screen.
In addition, players who take the gunner position on stealth helicopters will no longer have the camera reset to the default position when entering the seat.
