Hello Games launched a new minor patch for No Man's Sky to address the frequent crashing issues players have experienced recently.

Crashing Issues No More

Those who play No Man's Sky on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 might no longer experience crashing issues once they have updated their game clients to the latest version. So, what really got fixed in Patch 4.51?

Well, the bugs that were causing the game to crash when players interact with portals, freighters, and even the Quicksilver shop have now been squashed. Besides that, the bug that was responsible for the rendering crash on PlayStation 5, specifically, has been addressed as well.

Aside from that, the issue that caused many of the new biscuit recipes to be inedible has been resolved. Players who have had this issue before are encouraged to download and install Patch 4.51 immediately.

Saved Game Bug?

While the vast majority of the No Man's Sky community is enjoying what the Omega Update has to offer, there are some that did not have a good experience at all.

According to one Redditor, one of their saves got corrupted somehow, which caused them to lose a lot of the progress they have made in the game so far. Although the player tried downloading saves from the cloud, it was so dated that it is practically useless.

It seems that this is a known issue as another Redditor pointed out that they have heard other players losing their saved games as well. Could this be a result of an unknown bug that has yet to be addressed? Whatever the case may be, hopefully, Hello Games will be on top of the situation soon.

No Man's Sky is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
