Released on June 23, 2023, Brotato is developed and published by Blobfish. It is actually a top-down arena shooter roguelite game where, as well mentioned earlier, you take on the role of a potato.

But not just any potato. A weapon-wielding potato.

The potato's name, as you may have already guessed is Brotato, the sole survivor when a plane from Potato World crashes into another planet. While waiting to be rescued, what you should do as Brotato is to use up to six weapons at a time to keep yourself safe from the hostile environment.

What to Expect from the Game

Brotato features fast runs that last for around 30 minutes or even less, while waves can last from around 20 to 90 seconds. Your goal, quite simply, is to kill as many enemies as you can during that span of time.

There are dozens of characters available that you can customize so that your runs can go the way you want them. You also get variety in the weapons that you can equip so that you can last longer in the game. Among the weapons you will encounter are rocket launchers, flamethrowers, and even the most basic sticks and stones.
