Yesterday we got the official announcement that The Last of Us would be coming to PlayStation 4 in a "remastered" edition this summer.
Well, today we have a trailer for the re-release, although it's really more of developer Naughty Dog checking itself out in a mirror and looking at how buff it is. During the 1:22 trailer, we get 52 seconds of Naughty Dog showing us their Game of the Year accolades for The Last of Us, followed by 20 seconds of Joel and Ellie checking out some giraffes and 10 seconds of the box art.
No doubt, this remastered game does look great, as the little bit of footage we see in the trailer is just more of the awesomeness we've already experienced in TLOU. The trailer is also in full 1080p on YouTube, which is what the game will run on on its new system. This is probably a little annoying for PS3 players that just bought the game last year, but Xbox 360 converts on PS4 are most likely jumping for joy.
At the very end of the trailer there were also pre-order bonuses "announced." I use the quotes because they didn't actually state what the bonuses are, they just offered pictures. There will also be exclusive pre-order content for those who order through PlayStation Store.
Will you be picking up this remastered edition of 2013's near-universal GOTY? Let us know in the comments.
