Amazing New Content
Players who are clamoring for more content in Immortals of Aveum will be excited to know that the Echollector Update adds new endgame objectives. For instance, players can enter the new "Shatterfanes" which are corrupted Shroudfranes that lead to new and challenging encounters.
For those who do not know, "Shroudfanes" in Immortals of Aveum are portals that lead to enchanted areas filled with enemies. Judging by their description, Shatterfanes are similar to Shroudfanes, albeit players can expect much tougher battles ahead.
Even though things are more challenging in the Shatterfanes, players will be rewarded with some amazing loot for their efforts, such as two rings, Limpets Vial, a new bracer, and a Legendary Sigil.
There are several Shatterfanes introduced in Update 1.0.6.0. The first three can be found in the Pale Forest, Shrineforge, and Oremen. They have to be completed first before players can proceed to the Acroamatic Fane, which is located in Glaivegate.
Entering the Acroamatic Fane will have players battle the ancient being, the titular Echollector.
Players who want to engage with the new content offered in this patch will have to reach Glaivegate first before it becomes available.

New Features
Can't get enough of Immortals of Aveum? Well, the Echollector Update includes a couple of new features, including the "New Game+" and a new difficulty mode called the "Grand Magnus."
As the name implies, New Game+ is a feature that lets players start a new adventure with most of the progress they've made in their previous playthrough still intact. This includes gear, talents, resources, upgrades, and Arcanum.
In addition, all of the spells and abilities that the players have unlocked will be carried over once they start a New Game+, except for Augment Spells like Disrupt, Grapple, and Animate. This is because players have to reach a certain point in the story before they obtain these Augment Spells.
Those who find the game to be too easy might want to try the new "Grand Magnus" difficulty mode out. This is Immortals of Aveum's version of hard mode where resources are scarce and enemies are generally tougher to beat.
Fortunately, players do not have to finish the game in order to enable it. The Grand Magnus difficulty can be set even in their first playthrough!
