Are you struggling to level up in Hogwarts Legacy? If so, you're not alone. In this guide, you will discover how you can reach the game's max level of 40 in the most efficient way possible.
The Wizards' Field Guide
Leveling up in Hogwarts Legacy is not as straightforward as other action role-playing games. There are only certain things you can do in the game to gain experience; one of which is collecting the pages in the Wizards' Field Guide book. This particular book is given to you by Professor Weasley during the course of the game.
That being said, there are several spells that you need in order to get all of the Field Guide Pages. The first is "Revelio" which is a spell that allows you to reveal hidden objects. You can use this spell at the Arithmancy Classroom and Statue of Gregory the Smarmy to find some Field Guide Pages.
The second spell that you need is "Lumos." This is primarily used to lead moths to certain paintings and doing so will reward you with Field Guide Pages. The idea is to go to an area where you'll find a picture frame decorated by moving moths. When using Lumos on the frame, a new location will be revealed to you where you will find another moth. Go to this location, use Lumos again, and then lead that moth to the picture frame.
"Levioso," as the name implies, is a spell that enables you to levitate certain objects. This is the third spell that will help you obtain certain Field Guide Pages. In Hogwarts Legacy, you might come across some statues that are holding some Golden Orbs. You can find some in the Central Hall and the Clocktower Courtyard, for example. Use Levioso to open them.
For the fourth spell, you'll have to attend Professor Ronnen's Charms Class to learn "Accio." This is a force spell that can be utilized to pull objects toward you. Accio is mainly used to retrieve some flying pages. For instance, the Field Guide Pages that you see flying around near the Hogsmeade entrance can be yours when you cast Accio.
The last spell that you need to collect Field Guide Pages is "Confringo." It is a damaging spell where you hurl a bolt of flame at a distant target. While you're not going to use this on an enemy, you will cast the spell on some sconces to set them ablaze.
