Grand Theft Auto VI leaks suggest a massive 750GB file size and 400 hours of gameplay, raising storage concerns for console users.

A Gigantic 750GB File Size and 400 Hours of Gameplay?

The GTA 6 leak, originating from the GTA 6 News source, suggests a colossal 750GB file size for the game. To put that into perspective, it is nearly as hefty as the storage capacity of the PlayStation 5 itself! This revelation hints at a game of epic proportions, promising an immersive world like no other.

But it is not just the size that is jaw-dropping. The leak also tantalizingly proposes a whopping 400 hours of gameplay. If true, this could make GTA 6 one of the longest, most content-rich games ever created. Gamers can expect a genuinely expansive and engrossing experience.

Storage Woes for Console Users

While these figures are undoubtedly exciting, they also raise some practical concerns. Console gamers, especially those on the PS5, may find themselves scratching their heads.

To paint the picture, Spotted News tells us that the PS5 offers 825GB of storage, but 158GB is reserved for system files. If GTA 6 indeed demands 750GB, that leaves just 667GB for your other games, apps, and content. It is a storage challenge that may require additional solutions.

Ready for a $150 Game?

As thrilling as these leaks are, some skepticism is warranted. As Sportskeeda reports, rumors of GTA 6 carrying a $150 price tag have swirled, but credible evidence is sorely lacking.

While an article on Niche Gamer hinted at the $150 cost, it was built on shaky ground and had no definitive proof to stand on. It is vital to approach such claims with caution and skepticism.

Similarly, the notion of a 750GB game file is, well, a bit absurd. No game has ever demanded such an excessive amount of storage. While gamers understandably hope for a legendary GTA 6, let us keep our expectations grounded.

A file size of 750GB would practically eat up the entire PS5's internal storage, making it an impractical proposition.

Rockstar Games Remains Silent

The veil of secrecy surrounding GTA 6 remains as impenetrable as ever. Rockstar Games has yet to make an official announcement, leaving fans relying on leaks and rumors for insights.

The company's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, has always preferred a calculated approach, making the release of top titles a rare and highly anticipated event.

In fact, Zelnick likened their major franchises, including Grand Theft Auto, to the James Bond series, emphasizing their enduring appeal. The deliberate pacing of releases is crucial to maintaining a sense of rarity and anticipation among the gaming community - a strategy that has worked well so far.
