Also, make sure to get your hands on the Kamehameha and Kintoun Cloud, which are new items featured in the said event. The Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) is a new mythic item. Skins Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus are all available in the Item Shop, along with some cool new Dragon Ball emoticons, banner icons, and spray! Check them all out.
Furthermore, Dragon Ball fans can experience the Dragon Ball Ball Super Episode Festival in Discover. During this festival, players can board an in-game cruise ship where they can chill out and watch some cool Dragon Ball Super episodes.
Versus Boards: Bounty Board Gets an Upgrade
Another feature brought by this new event is the Versus Boards. In the Versus Boards, players will face a rival player in a one-on-one fight to see who survives in an island battle royale. The old Bounty Boards are now called Versus Boards, with many observable changes.
This new Fortnite feature is seen as a mini battle royale, only that the players do not just die. You can join the Versus Boards by landing on the locations where the Bounty Boards used to spawn. Just a reminder, make sure to always gear up some weapons before entering the Versus Boards and accepting a Versus Battle.
Relax and Have a Blast: Lazy Lagoon and Pirate Cannons Are Back
Pirate Cannons are back at the Lazy Lagoon. The Pirate Cannon is one of the first vehicles in Fortnite to have weapon mechanics. A player can ride the said cannon, and another can join in as a human cannonball, the vehicle as infinite cannonballs, though.
According to the Fortnite Archives, the driver can move the cannon by running, walking, or hitting the spacebar to give it a little push. The driver can also aim and fire the cannon, which has an endless supply of ammunition. The human cannonball has three options for firing: by the driver, by themselves, or by hiding in the cannon's barrel.
Polygon shares a tip in using the cannon. Positioning is the danger that the cannon poses. Knowing where you're going to land before you get there is a good idea if you're using it to propel yourself across the map. It might not be simple to escape if you accidentally blast yourself into a group of enemies.
Pirate Cannons can only be found at the Lazy Lagoon. You can opt to drop there directly, but be careful as the Lazy Lagoon can sometimes be a place for early clashes, and we do not want you to be eliminated in the first few minutes. Be sure to find some cover first if you decide to land at the Lagoon.
There are some rumors that the cannons will be used in some quests to be released later this week.
