More and more teams are qualifying for The International 2022 as PGL Arlington Major carries on. Just today, August 10, three more pro Dota teams gathered enough DPC points to give them a direct invitation to the coveted TI11. As Dot Esports reports, these teams are Tundra, Aster, and TI defending champions Team spirit after the upper bracket quarterfinals of the Arlington Major.

One of the lightest news today is Tundra's direct ticket to the International. Even though the team did not make it through the upper bracket and into the playoffs, they gathered enough DPC points to fling them directly into the highest stage of Dota. Tundra guaranteed their TI slot upon garnering a total of 1,212 pro circuit points.

The team impressed many as they cruised through the qualifiers' upper bracket, but they fell short after OG sent them home via a heartbreaking 3-2 loss. This loss made Tundra miss the qualifier spot and ultimately eliminated them from the Arlington Major. Overall, Tundra Esports showed promising results as they went about in the season, only that they lost momentum in their latest outing. The esports team is the 6th team this year to qualify for TI11.

Team Spirit Qualifies to Defend Title in TI11

On the other hand, Team Spirit continues to be a threat for many pro teams as they secure fourth place in this year's DPC season standings. This specific feat guarantees that the Russian team will be granted a chance to defend their title as 2021 The International champions. Team Spirit reached this milestone today after a resounding victory over the Outsiders, which knocked the said team out of the upper bracket.

The Russian team has already accumulated 1,505 DPC points even though the Arlinton Major is not yet over. Team Spirit can still have the chance to add to this number and climb further to this season's DPC leaderboard.

Another team that made the headlines today is Team Aster. Team Aster has earned just enough DPC points to secure them a direct invite to the International 2022 in Singapore. Team Aster is the eighth team this year to secure their ticket to TI11.

TI11 Leaderboard Goes Tighter as Arlington Major Nears Conclusion

As for Arlington Major updates, One Esports informs us that Chinese team PSG.LGD is continuing its domination in the said major. The last year's TI runner-up is among the first to qualify for the Arlington playoffs with an astounding 13-1 standing. According to the same report, teams Entity, Team Spirit, BOOM Esports, Evil Geniuses, and BeastCoast have also secured their spots in the next level of the competition.

The Arlington Major will be raging on for four more days. As of writing, Day 2 of the playoffs is underway. It will be very exciting to see which teams will make it just in time for Singapore TI. We are set for a competitive Dota action for TI11, but for now, we can watch the teams battle their best to determine who will be the kings of this year's PGL Arlington Major.
