CS:GO Is a Thriving Sport in Brazil

One could say that CS:GO could be Brazil's national sport, only second to football. In the past few years, Brazilian CS:GO fans have witnessed the game's rapid rise in popularity.

Brazil has turned out to be a CS:GO hotspot as many related esports activities continue to be hosted in the region. The announcement of IEM Rio Major 2022 also brought more excitement to Brazilian players and fans.

The growing CS:GO 'culture' in Brazil only pushes more local esports organizations to expand their rosters and initiate more regional stages. More and more Brazilian locals bring their game to be regional and even international spotlights. Corinthians is just one of the many promising teams in Brazil.

Neymar is probably Brazil's most prominent sports celebrity. Aside from his legendary football skills, Neymar is also a big CS:GO fan. The athlete would do live streams on Twitch now and then and gain thousands of viewers with each game played. The football star himself has a massive following in his country, which only adds the hype to the Brazilian CS:GO craze.

CS:GO is one of the most popular gaming esports. Many countries like Denmark and Russia have massive gaming communities that are avid fans of the said team-based action game.

As reported by Sounds and Colors, the said nation is a massive powerhouse of avid CS:GO supporters who can cheer the loudest in crowds. No one in Latin America has the same enthusiasm for the game. Brazil has generated all of South America's S-Tier or even A-Tier CS:GO teams.
