We are back with another #SteamSpotlight feature and, if our count is correct, it is our 32nd feature under this series! We have been having so much fun featuring the many games available on Steam and we hope you have been enjoying discovering new games to try out.
If this is your first time encountering #SteamSpotlight, it is basically a series wherein we feature the games available for purchase and download on Steam. We do not have a bias over genres, developer, and the like. We just feature all the games we find interesting no matter what categories they fall in!
For today's feature, we shine the spotlight on a party platformer game known as Ultimate Chicken Horse.
#SteamSpotlight Feature: Ultimate Chicken Horse
Developed and published by Clever Endeavour Games, Ultimate Chicken Horse was released in March 2016.
As previously mentioned, Ultimate Chicken Horse is a party platformer described by the official website of Clever Endeavour Games as a game "where you build the level as you play, taking turns placing traps and hazards and trying to screw your friends out of a win."
You score points when you make it to the end of the level, but your friends do not. It is pretty much a game of sabotage, but you will also have to be careful not to screw yourself over.
As you may have already probably guessed, the game is a multiplayer game that can accommodate up to four players online or via local play. You and your friends get to play as animals as well and the options available include chicken, horse, raccoon, and many more.
The game features a total of 18 levels and each has its own unique features. However, you are also free to build and even share custom levels.
You can watch the game's trailer below:
Is Solo Play Available?
Ultimate Chicken Horse is clearly a multiplayer game. The question is, can you still play it if you are by yourself?
According to the game's Steam page, you can create levels and play them alone. However, if you want to unlock characters and levels, you are required to play one of the main modes of the game, which are all multiplayer.
