The Dark Souls 3 modding community might not be as robust as, say, Skyrim's, but the modders there are still as skilled as the absolute best of them. And this one should be more than enough proof.
GameRant reports of a certain DS3 mod that effectively turns the game into another Soulsborne title: Bloodborne, if you want it to. The mod is called Fear The Old Blood, and is already available for download at Nexus Mods now if you want it. However, it's only for PC.
There's not much about the mod in its official description on Nexus, and there seems to be not a lot of gameplay videos of it in action. There is a snippet of its gameplay from YouTuber Billy the Skwid which shows the player character looking a lot like Bloodborne's The Hunter:
According to DSOGaming, the mod works by overhauling Dark Souls 3's main features. It introduces major changes o lighting, weapons, music, outfits, and even how the character moves - essentially turning the third Souls game into a de-facto Bloodborne port for PC. Many fans have been asking for the PlayStation exclusive to come to PC for years, but their pleas have fallen on deaf ears so far. Heck, even an official next-gen port of the game for the PS5 is still not confirmed, as Bloodborne still runs and looks the same on current-gen as it did in last-gen.
Either way, Fear The Old Blood seems simple enough to install compared to a lot of other Dark Souls 3 mods. As soon as you download it, all you need to do is extract all of the contents of the .rar file into your game's install directory containing the main DS3 executable. That's it.
This mod is different from another Bloodborne-inspired mod called Ashen Blood that released just a bit earlier, back in February. Ashen Blood was meant to be "an early test before the release of Elden Ring" and looks to be limited in scope, but it's still a great mod in itself:
Dark Souls 3 is out now for all major platforms worldwide.

Some Fun Dark Souls 3 Mods To Elevate/Change Your Experience
Fear The Old Blood is a new addition to the pantheon of Dark Souls 3 mods, but it's far from the only one that can make the game play better for you or give you a different, refreshing experience. Here are some mods to get you started:
- First-Person Cam: There's a reason why the Soulsborne games were always third-person: try dodge-rolling from a boss in first-person POV and see how nauseous you get - and how much tougher the game can be. But if you're fine with that and want an even tougher Soulsborne challenge because you just like pain, then try this mod from creator Zullie The Witch on Nexus.
- Modern Firearm: By now, you should know that the Souls games are set in either medieval or Victorian-inspired times where modern firearms don't exist yet. But if you want to add a new, fun take on the game's combat, try this mod out from creator ForsakenSilver on Nexus. Basically, turn your game into "Call Of Souls: Modern Warfare III."
- Hunter's Combat: Another Bloodborne-inspired mod, Hunter's Combat adds the titular Hunter's transformable trick weapons into DS3 to add a new layer onto the game's base combat system. This mod comes from the same creator that made Modern Firearm.
