Sony has announced a new event out of left field called "Find Your New Zone," which is supposed to be focused on gamers and scheduled for June 28th.
PushSquare reports that the event could feature a few pieces of hardware that have already been rumored or leaked recently. This includes a leaked trio of headsets all from the same company (INZONE) and gaming monitors that are reportedly "perfect" for the PS5. The aforementioned monitors are said to be in 4K and 1080p resolutions - for reasons that will be explained later in the article.
Sony's Find Your New Zone event is slated for 2 PM PT/10 PM BST, as confirmed by this tweet from Sony UK:
There seems to be no indication that the Sony Find Your New Zone event is going to be focused on the PS5 alone. However, the leaked headsets and rumored monitors are the most likely gamer-focused hardware to be revealed - if they do get revealed, at all.
The headsets from INZONE, as reported by 91Mobiles, are said to have been crafted in direct collaboration with the video game industry giant. There will be three models to choose from: The Sony INZONE H3, H7, and H9; all of which will have 360 spatial sound. If so, this would make them perfect for the PS5's Tempest 3D Audio tech, which for now could only be fully experienced with the Pulse headset - though it can technically be used with any stereo headset.
As for the rumored monitors, PlayStationLifestyle reports that there will be two "perfect for PS5" units that will also be made by INZONE. These monitors will reportedly come with "exclusive features for PlayStation" such as auto HDR Tone Mapping, Auto Genre Picture Mode, high refresh rates (144Hz for 4K, 240Hz for 1080p), DisplayHDR600, DisplayHDR400, and low latency (1ms).
Aside from that, the monitors will reportedly also come with "gaming assist features" that will make them far more accessible for everyone else. But whether the headsets or the monitors will actually be revealed at the Find Your New Zone revent remains to be seen - so take this info with a grain of salt until the event comes.

Will The PS5 Pro Or PS5 Slim Make An Appearance?
With a YouTuber going viral for creating his own "PS5 Slim" recently, people are once again talking about the much-anticipated hardware refresh (PS5 Pro/PS5 slim) for Sony's console that seems to come out right about this time. But again, there's no indication that the Find Your New Zone event will even include these announcements - let alone confirm them at all.
Either way, rumors are once again abound, alongside a list of features gamers want from the console refresh. As shared by GamesRadar, fans want something a bit more streamlined and less bulky than the original PS5, while also packing more power (for the Pro version). Performance is more or less expected to be double that of the base console, which could theoretically allow the Pro model to render games in resolutions beyond 4K - albeit with a few expected compromises like checkerboard rendering.
As for the PS5 Slim, it's likely not going to be as thin as the 2cm-thick custom-watercooled box that DIY Perks did. But as per TechRadar, the release of a slimmer PlayStation 5 is only a matter of time.
