Well, thank god it is Friday, which means it is time for yet another ProFiles feature for you to enjoy! Are you ready for today's feature?
Seems like it was just yesterday when we started this series here on GameNGuide but, believe it or not, today's feature is already our eighth one overall. That means we have been doing this for roughly around two months already. Time does fly when you are having fun.
If this is your first time to encounter a ProFiles feature, what this series basically does is shine the spotlight on professional eSports players, streamers, and even gaming YouTubers. Today's feature shines the spotlight specifically on a gaming YouTuber from the United Kingdom.
It is none other than Daniel "DanTDM" Middleton. Here is what you need to know about this famous YouTuber:
ProFiles: Gaming YouTuber DanTDM
DanTDM started his YouTube channel back in 2012 and his content has focused mainly on gaming. Specifically, his content involves a lot of gameplay videos as well as reviews.
According to an article on the YouTuber by Nas Academy, at first he would film and edit his videos himself during his spare time. When his YouTube channel was still starting out DanTDM was working at a supermarket. When he reached 10,000 subscribers within his first seven months on YouTube, he decided to quit his job and focus on being a YouTuber.
"So, as his fan base grew even more, Daniel decided to shift his focus and target his content specifically towards a younger audience," the Nas Academy article says. The change in strategy has led to his views growing in number even more.
Today, Daniel Middleton manages two other YouTube channels aside from DanTDM. One is MoreTDM and the other is known as DanTDM Live.
According to an article by the BBC, his advice to aspiring YouTubers is to "make sure you've got everything in place so that you're confident that everything you put out there that has your name attached to it is what you believe in."

Nas Academy's article notes that "As of 2021, DanTDM generates an average of 3 million video views per day with around 5,000 new followers subscribing to the channel daily." The YouTuber reportedly earns $24,000 per day thanks to monetized views.
However, the article by the BBC notes that his income is not only thanks to the monetized views of his YouTube videos. DanTDM also earns from merchandise sales and he even had a worldwide stadium tour in the past.
