Elden Ring Player Meets 'Jesus Christ' And Teams Up With Him Too

Elden Ring Player Meets Jesus, Teams Up With Him To Beat Satan

Elden Ring might be a pretty serious game - perhaps even too serious for so many people. But there would be times that it would just make folks burst into laughter with some unexpected (or perhaps even holy) antics.

By holy, we mean this. An Elden Ring player called Mar_reddit recently posted his encounter with the Son of God Himself: Jesus Christ. In truth, this isn't even too weird considering how FromSoftware's The Lands Between took some mythological cues from the teaching of Christianity, writes PCGamer.

Here is Mar_reddit's encounter with Jesus, who also seems to have come with the fallen angel Lucifer. But after he knelt in front of the Messiah, things escalated just a little bit, as you can see:

As you can see in the post, which has earned 5.7k likes at the time of this writing, Mar_reddit's Tarnished knelt down and "prayed" in front of Jesus. But afterward, he attacked the Lucifer-looking dude (who's actually named Satan) on the side, and the Son of God joined in.

Basically, it was Elden Ring's version of the battle between good and evil. But it's obviously all in good fun. The commenters on the post were also having a good time cracking jokes, with one commenter saying that the Jesus Tarnished is a "pure Faith build." One Redditor even made a fake bible verse referring to the encounter.

Either way, this hilarious encounter is not even the only time that Jesus appeared in The Lands Between. Earlier in March, a YouTuber called RunningRiot4798 met another Jesus-looking character and couldn't contain her laughter when she saw him invade her game:

Here's another video from YouTuber Atorion who made some sort of a compilation featuring the Jesus character, with the hashtag #Easter billing it as a presumed celebratory video for Easter Sunday:

Elden Ring's Potential For Fun (Or Weird) Roleplaying

FromSoftware's Soulsborne games are, at their core, role-playing games. You create your own character and level them up for the entire game according to your specifications. This type of role-playing isn't too weird and is punctuated even more by the PvP multiplayer system called Invasion.

Don't miss these best mods that you can use in "Elden Ring."

Elden Ring's PvP multiplayer works by allowing people to invade your game world whenever they like. Their primary goal will often be simple: kill you and take your runes. The Jesus character you saw here invaded Mar_reddit's game, but fortunately, they weren't there to take any runes - just spread the word of God.

Still, this won't fly most of the time. Runes are pretty useful in The Lands Between, and people will always want to take them from you. This is why another player, Redditor xdc_lis, pretended to be an NPC by walking up and down in a "pre-determined" path to fool an invader:

GamesRadar reports that a day after posting the video of their deception on Reddit, another Redditor commented on the post and said that they were the invader who kept on running by xdc_lis, unaware of the clever trick being played on them. In the end, the player earned a total of 38,000 runes - not a bad haul.

With these role-playing scenarios possible in Elden Ring, don't be surprised if you see someone like Buddha next.
