Dig Dug II
Dig Dug II is an arcade game that has action and puzzle elements. Released in 1985, the game is the sequel to 1982's Dig Dug.
The game is developed and published by Namco and the goal of the player is to simply kill the enemies: the red monsters known as Pookas and the dragons known as Fygars. The player takes on the role of Taizo Hori, who uses an air pump and a jackhammer to achieve his goal.
Earthworm Jim 2
The second game added to Nintendo Switch Online's library is Earthworm Jim 2. Released in 1995, Earthworm Jim 2 is the sequel to 1994's Earthworm Jim. This run and gun platform game was initially released for the SNES as well as Sega Genesis.
The player's primary goal in the game is to save Princess What's-Her-Name from Psy-Crow. In order to do that, the player must be able to go through multiple levels that have their corresponding challenges.
Mappy-Land
The sequel to the 1983 arcade game Mappy, Mappy-Land was developed by TOSE and published by Namco for the NES. Released in Japan in 1986 and in North America in 1989, this console-only game lets the player take on the role of a character called Mappy.
Mappy's tasks is to collect a total of six items while avoiding enemies led by a character named Goro at the same time. Mappy has to go through themed areas that have their distinct features.
