Released on March 31, 2022, Midnight Ghost Hunt, to simply put, is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game. As its name suggests, it does involve ghosts.
Developed by Vaulted Sky Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing, the game pits two teams of four players each against one another. One group are Ghosts and the other are Ghost Hunters. As you may have figured out, the goal of the Hunters is to track down the Ghosts.
According to the game's Steam page, Ghosts can use furniture not only to hide themselves but also as weapons thanks to their telekinetic abilities. Hunters are likewise armed as well and players can choose from an array of weapons as well as other devices that can help them detect the opponents.

What Happens When the Clock Strikes Midnight?
If you think this is just your typical run-of-the-mill hide-and-seek game with a ghostly element, Midnight Ghost Hunt will happily prove you wrong. Tables are turned the moment the clock strikes midnight in the game.
According to the official website of Midnight Ghost Hunt, the moment the clock strikes midnight, it is the Hunters turn to become the hunted.
"The tables turn and Ghosts become supercharged, giving Hunters a limited amount of time to survive their vengeful wrath," the website says.

Steam Reviews for Midnight Ghost Hunt
Midnight Ghost Hunt has more than 2,300 views as of press time on its Steam page. These reviews are described as "Very Positive" by Steam. It should be noted that the game is still an Early Access game as of press time.
A Steam user who goes by the handle JimCAmanto says in a review that "the game starts fun and gets more fun."
"The tutorial helps, but getting into a good friendly lobby to learn the game is priceless and makes it so much more enjoyable," JimCAmanto adds.
Another Steam user who goes by the handle Zyzz says that if Ghosbusters and Prop Hunt had a baby, it would be Midnight Ghost Hunt.
