Ever since the new DMZ mode was leaked, various information about it has been appearing on the internet. One of these is the game mode's availability in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."
Tom Henderson, a well-known game enthusiast, said that the new DMZ feature is likely to be similar to the popular co-op survival mode called "Escape From Tarkov." This means that players in the DMZ mode will face bot enemies as well.
For those who don't know the "Escape From Tarkov" mode, it offers a massive battle royale-sized map. Players in the area need to make it to the other side of the map to win a match.
They need to do this while fighting off AI-powered foes. Aside from this, another detail about the upcoming DMZ mode was leaked.
'Call of Duty' DMZ Mode's Newly Leaked Detail!
According to Comic Book's latest report, Twitter leaker TheGhostofHope released a new detail about the rumored "Modern Warfare 2" in-game mode.

"DMZ has at least 4 maps in development. The Warzone 2 map is entirely separate and is not in any way connected to DMZ," said the title enthusiast.
He added that each of the maps would differ from one another. This includes the design, open-world characteristics as well as area concentrations.
Activision hasn't made any confirmation regarding the leaked DMZ mode details. But, some rumors claim that the upcoming "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" will be quite similar to the latest title, "Call of Duty: Vanguard."
This means that the DMZ mode is also likely to arrive in the new title.
When Will DMZ Mode Arrive?
Since Activision hasn't confirmed the DMZ mode's official arrival, its launch date is still unpredictable. But, if it will be really featured in the upcoming "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2," then there's a high chance it will be released before 2022 ends.
If the game developer follows its launch date patterns, then players will likely see the new "Modern Warfare 2" and DMZ mode around October or November, as reported by Dexerto.
But, since the revenues generated by the current "Call of Duty: Vanguard," Activision might release the new title as early as October to make up for the loss. On the other hand, some leakers claimed that the game developer may also release a new "Vanguard" enhancement during the arrival of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."
