Nintendo will be postponing the official launch of "Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp" on the Switch Console because of the ongoing issue between Russia and Ukraine.
The console maker announced this news on Twitter and stated that the decision came in light of "recent" world events.
'Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp' Faces Delayed Release
"Command an army in strategic, turn-based combat as a tactical adviser for the Orange Star Army. Your expertise is needed as you move land, air, and naval units across the battlefield. Take down enemy squads and capture towns and bases to secure victory and keep the peace. Keep an eye on the game-changing terrain and weather as you lead a variety of units across multiple maps. This remake features two campaigns that cover the events of Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising!"
According to a report by Forbes, the Japanese gaming company came up with the idea of temporarily holding the Nintendo Switch debut for the upcoming turn-based strategy game.
Although Nintendo did not specifically highlight the event that it noted on the post, it was clearly understood that it is pertaining to Ukraine's crisis right now.
Since we know that Nintendo boasts a friendly trademark for all of its customers, the Kyoto-based video game corporation has a sensitive take on the issue, especially since the title mentioned "wars," related to the current happening in Europe.
The company imposed a suspension of the Russian eShop services for this week in connection to this. This decision was logically linked to the postponement of "Advance Wars."

Not the First Delay For 'Advance Wars'
The "Reboot Camp" is a remastered version of the first and second "Advance Wars" installments for those who don't know this title. Moreover, Intelligent Systems introduced these two games in the Game Boy Advance (GBA).
This is not the first time that "Advance Wars" was subjected to a delay. The remake also faced the same fate last December 2021.
The fans expected that the game would be launched to this date, but it was later moved for the April launch, Clutch Points wrote on its report.
In the meantime, all we could do right now is to wait for Nintendo's future announcements regarding the release of "Advance Wars." There's no definite schedule for the debut of its remake on Nintendo Switch.
In another story from Screenrant, "Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp," is another brilliant creation from Intelligent Systems behind the "Fire Emblem" installment.
According to the source, fans mostly love this "Wars" game because of its "punchy" combat interface. Similarly, many players often compare it to "Fire Emblem" when it comes to their characters.
