Blizzard Entertainment unveiled some announcements about the Spring 2022 roadmap that would focus on bringing the upcoming video game expansion.
The game publisher also shared some details about its "Hearthstone" expansion plan next week. Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated "Warcraft" mobile will be revealed in May.
Blizzard Prepares to Release 'WoW,' 'Hearthstone' Expansion
According to a report by Comicbook, the California-based video game developer is now setting things up for the upcoming release of the first mobile game in the "Warcraft" Universe.
Somehow, the expansion could be a good start for mobile gamers who want to have fresh air of new gaming experience on the platform.
Although the gaming industry is heavily dominated by PC gamers, a huge user base on mobile should still be considered for the gaming space.
While this appears to be a shocking revelation that some "Warcraft" fans could not expect, Blizzard might have already hinted about this announcement in the past.
In the same report, Comicbook spotted via Kotaku's 2018 report that the company was reportedly working with a new free-to-play "WoW" mobile video game that could be similar to Niantic's "Pokemon Go."
Obviously, this is a clear indication that Blizzard was also listening to its fans regarding its mobile game expansion.
Logically speaking, this was possible since "Diablo Immortal" was announced to be available as a mobile game a few years ago. To note, this was an opportunity for the gaming firm to create a "Warcraft" mobile game for phone users.

'WoW' as Best MMORPG
If the release for the new "Warcraft" mobile game takes place today, this could be a big breakthrough for Blizzard in the field of mobile gaming.
The company did not mention any information about its in-game content, yet we could expect some ideas from its PC version to the upcoming mobile title.
If that's the case, it will turn out to be one of the best MMORPGs given that "Warcraft" holds a strong storyline and rich gameplay mechanics for all players.
If it does not become a multiplayer online role-playing game, there's a chance that it could be created as a "real-time strategy" game.
Amid several challenges that Blizzard is facing this year, these reports are what we normally see during BlizzCon.
However, this annual game showcase will not take place this 2022. The game developer has already decided to pause it temporarily for some reason, according to Eurogamer.
