"Elden Ring," the recently-launched "Souls" game at the moment, has already succeeded in gaining traction from the crowd. Through its rich gameplay and story, fans were quick to judge that this adventure game has some promising features to look for.
Recently, some users noticed that FromSoftware's game has some connection to the famous manga "Berserk." The Sword Memorial on the game is believed to be a tribute to the late mangaka Kentaro Miura.
'Berserk' Reference in 'Elden Ring'
Anime Galaxy Official reported that there was a YouTuber who uploaded a controversial video last week. The clip entitled "Elden Ring: Possible Memorial To Miura/Berserk," has over 870,000 views at the moment
For "Berserk" fans, this location is a good way to commemorate the works of illustrator and author Miura, who passed away last year. As seen on the video, the "Hill of Swords" is a clear sign that "Elden Ring" deeply respects "Berserk," according to some fans.
In addition, it best depicts Guts, the protagonist of the Euro-inspired dark fantasy manga, through his "Dragonslayer" sword. According to one user, this reference is undoubtedly from "Berserk" because this is an iconic spot for Guts' crew.
"Now, Guts didn't die, but the author of Berserk did. So this is more of a memorial to him, Kentaro Miura, and an ode to a place within Berserk. RIP Miura, you will be missed. And thank you, Miyazaki, for giving us this incredible series", the commenter continued.
So far, we haven't heard any confirmation from FromSoftware that this memorial site was indeed inspired by Miura's "Berserk." One thing is certain: fans hope to see the remastered version of the anime someday.

Guts' Sword in 'Elden Ring?'
In another report from Gamesradar, fans could not think of a perfect resemblance of an "Elden Ring" weapon to what Guts used to wield. Over Reddit, many players noticed the uncanny similarity of the two swords and concluded that it's indeed what the "Berserk" protagonist is using.
On the screenshot, as seen in the article, this particular weapon could be "Elden Ring's" way to thank Miura for his contribution and inspiration for Souls-like genre titles.
Whether it's a direct reference or not, fans know that Miura has influenced a lot of developers to create a "Souls" game for the next generation of players.
In other news, "Forza Horizon 5" received new sign language support on its latest update, according to GameNGuide. At the time of writing, it might be the only video game with the said feature.
The major update for "Forza" aims to help many deaf-mute people to enjoy the beauty of the game's cutscenes. Furthermore, it supports both American and British Sign Language.
This set of changes was also based on the feedback of the deaf and "hearing impaired" individuals who contributed to improving its accessibility.
