"Bully 2" could still be in the works at Rockstar Games, even if they just confirmed working on "GTA 6" recently.
This is the claim of renowned game industry leaker Tom Henderson, who clarified things with rumors saying the next "GTA" game is going to be Rockstar's main focus from here on out:
As per GamesRadar, the conversation between Henderson and the Twitter profile Bully2Source had the former claim that "there's something going on" with the "Bully" series. Henderson even claimed that there was going to be a reveal for the "Bully" sequel in last year's game awards-a reveal that clearly never came.
This then led to Bully2Source calling out Henderson, saying he basically trolled people into believing he had information about "Bully 2." But the latter was quick to clarify a few things, especially during the wake of "GTA 6's" informal announcement.
A lot of fans have been eagerly anticipating a sequel to the hit PlayStation 2 classic ever since it was released 15 years ago. There weren't a lot of confirmed reports about "Bully 2" back in the day, though it was rumored that work on the game was canceled in 2010.
According to the original report by GameInformer, there was a playable build of the game that featured "six to eight hours of gameplay."It was eventually shelved due to constant developmental troubles in favor of other titles like the original "Red Dead Redemption" and "Max Payne 3"--both of which had troubled development cycles in their own right.
That version of the "Bully" sequel was reportedly developed by Rockstar's New England studio. GameRant reports that the "Bully" sequel was intended to be "bigger and better than the original in every way". Devs said it was designed to be three times the size of the original game but still smaller than "GTA 4."

Does This Mean A 'Bully 2' Release Date Is Close?
Nope. Not at all. However, Henderson has an aura of reliability that's far more pronounced than other leakers, which is proven by his recent claims that actually came true.
Here's an example. Prior to the first announcement of "Battlefield 2042," Henderson notably leaked a handful of details about EA's next big shooter that turned out to be accurate. He posted a few sketches of then-unreleased screenshots of the game, like this one which he tweeted way back in April of last year:
As you should know by now, the sketch was faithful to this official screenshot shared months after Henderson first leaked it:
Rockstar Has Their Hands Full With 'GTA 6' For Now
Whatever it is that Rockstar Games has planned, they still have their hands full with the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise for now. There's the bevy of fixes still needed for the remastered "GTA trilogy," as well as the mountain of dev work required to make "GTA 6". If you're a fan of the "Bully" franchise, you'll have to wait a few years more for a sequel if it ever comes, that is.
