Epic Games released the patch notes for Fortnite's Version 19.10 Update. This update has new content for the multiplayer online battle royale, including a new point of interest (POI), Covert Canyon.
The version update also brought in the new The Foundation Character Skin and the new Haven Masks, which can be unlocked and collected after doing several in-game tasks. It also fixed several of the battle royale's bugs and issues.
Several Additions
One of the in-game additions that the Version 19.20 Update added to Fortnite is the Covert Canyon.
According to Fortnite Intel, the POI became the base of operations for the IO, a character who works to excavate the remains of The Devourer-- a gigantic creature that became the antagonist for the game's Chapter 2 Season 9.

Covert Canyon is located in the northwestern part of the map. It replaced Pinnacle Peak, a mountain between Camp Cuddle and Logjam Lumberyard.
Once players enter the POI, they have a chance to get a Mythic version of the Stinger submachine gun. Based on Epic Games' website, the firearm possessed more firepower and recoil than its regular version.
Another in-game content included on the Patch 19.20 Update added to Fortnite is the new The Foundation Character Skin. Players can now get the skin after completing a set of challenges inside The Foundation Battle Pass.
Aside from The Foundation Character Skin, a new set of cosmetics called the Haven's Masks are also added in Fortnite. Each of these masks can be unlocked by completing a special task that requires them to do an in-game activity.
Once unlocked, they can obtain one of them using Feathers that they collect inside Chests around the Island. These masks can be seen in their seasonal Battle Pass's special "Haven's Mask" section.
Change and Fixes
Aside from the in-game additions, the Version 19.20 Update also brought changes in Fortnite.
According to Epic Games, the version update changed the Heavy Shotgun that is returning in the game, making it fire a single slug on a longer range, requiring more accuracy.
It also improved the Creative's XP Beyond the Battle Royale experience. This means that players who triggered an Accolade before calibration is completed will be rewarded with XP instead of waiting for several days for it to be done.
The version update, according to Express, also fixed a bug within the Battle Royale mode where a Tournament Match cannot record a point on the leaderboard while it cannot register the game as "played."
It also fixed an issue where the Web-Shooters dropped by eliminated players have a full stock of uses even if they did not have a full stock.
It also fixed a bug that caused players to respawn in the Creative Hub after being eliminated instead of reappearing on the map and a bug that caused the Charge Shotgun to not save in the Item Spawner.
It also fixed the bug with Save the World's "Deliver the Bomb," where Husks can damage objectives through player-built structures. Other bugs in the game had been fixed as well, including the one that caused the Expeditions menu to become inaccessible for players despite meeting its criteria and the other that caused the Toggle Harvester Tool button to be unworkable consoles.
