The recent update for Escape from Tarkov had brought in a new additional in-game content, including a Christmas-themed seasonal update called "To the Trees."
The said quest will give the players of the multiplayer first-person shooting game the opportunity to find the Christmas Trees that are scattered around different locations in the game's map, and get the loots below them, as well as Christmas ornaments that they can use to craft their own tree.
Time to Search the Trees
In order to get started with the "To The Tree" quest, according to Sirus Gaming, they must first approach the Mechanic, a non-playable character (NPC) in Escape from Tarkov. He is located in a Chemical Plant Factory that is within the Customs District.
But before taking said seasonal quest, they must first complete the Gunsmith - Part 1 quest, which will make them modify an MP-133 12-gauge pump-action shotgun in order to meet with the required specification.

Once they have accepted said quest, they can start searching for the Christmas Trees that are in six different areas.
For the first tree, which is in the Customs, according to Future Game Releases, it was located at the north of the location, in between 3-storey and 2-storey dorms.
Once they are in the area, they will check under and around the tree, as well as gift boxes, for the said loot and ornaments.
Next, they will walk their way towards the Interchange, then to its western part of the location's map, where a scav camp is seen across the other side of the road from the ULTRA Mall.
Much like the first one, they need to search for the gift boxes, mas well as the loots on the bottom and around the Christmas Tree.
Then, to get to the third Christmas Tree, which is in the Lighthouse area, they must travel towards the south, then they turn to the southern area until they saw a hideout that is under the landing stage of the scav extraction sit. From there, they will see the said tree.
Next, they will go to the fourth tree, which is at the southwestern part of the Reserve. From there, they go to the dirt paths that is near the E2 bunker, until they are in its middle, where the tree is seen.
Afterwards, according to Guided.News, they go to the Shoreline for the fifth tree for the quest. They will just need to go to the middle area of the resort compound, which is in front of the administration building.
Finally, for the sixth tree, they must go towards the shore in the Woods. From there, they will saw a bridge connecting between the said shore and a floating platform. They will need to take said bridge in order to approach the said platform until they saw the tree.
Once they saw all of the six Christmas Trees, they will get three Christmas Tree ornaments, a 3,800 EXP, up to 45,000 Rubbles, and an additional +0.01 Mechanic Rep, as well as other ornaments that they got from the loots and in the gift boxes.
These ornaments can be used in either crafting their very own Christmas Tree that they can use to decorate their hideout, as well as creating weapons such as the FN SCAR-L 5.56x45 assault rifle, the VSS Vintorez 9x39 special sniper rifle, and the TDI KRISS Vector Gen.2 .45 ACP submachine gun.
