One of the major changes that the Winter Season update made for Black Desert's console version is for their servers.

According to the patch notes that was posted in the game's website, the said servers will be converted into Season Servers, which has an expanded 28 character slots per player.

In the Season Servers, they will get increased EXP, Season Leveling Aid Boxes when their characters reach certain levels, Secret Books of the Misty Breeze that can grant extra Skill Points, and other benefits.

These servers can only be accessed by Seasonal Characters, which can be created once in the "Create Season Character" option during the naming stage in character creation.

These Seasonal Characters cannot use any Combat or Skill EXP Exchange Coupons or any Secret Scroll of Pure Equilibrium, but they can use the same mounts, pets, and fairies. They cannot also be equipped with any normal gear, but they can be equipped with the "Naru" and the season-exclusive "Tuvala" gears.

Players can get the former by completing the game's main questline, from its beginning to Mediah, from Levels 1 to 55, while the latter can be obtained by exchanging PEN (V) Naru gear via Fughar, a non-playable character in most towns, or by enhancing a Naru gear on a Seasonal Character to PEN (V).

The Tuvala gear set can offer great performance for them who are looking for character growth, and can enhance their PEN (V) by using materials that they have obtained on the Season Servers, such as the time-filled Black Stones, Tuvala Ores, Refined Magical Black Stones, and the Frozen Tides Black Stone.

The Winter Season update also brought in new Season Passes, which according to mp1st.com, can be viewed in their inventory window. They can also purchase the new Black Spirit Season Pass in the Pearl Shop.

In order to unlock the rewards in these Season Passes, they need to complete daily quest that came from the Crow Merchants Guild Contribution Certificates.

Once they cleared said quests for their Season Passes, they can be rewarded with items, including the Aurora Snowflake, a seasonal item which they can use to exchange items to Pulvio.

The Season Servers will also have a season-exclusive Atoraxxion, an area that is also exclusive to Season Characters only that are equipped with Tuvala gear that is enhanced to DUO (II) or higher, as well as they have hit Level 57 or higher, have completed the "Invitation from I" Black Spirit main questline, and have achieved either Succession or Awakening.

As they entered the said area, they will be given a quest where they will be rewarded with Rift Chests once completed. These chests contain enhancement items for their Tuvala gear sets, as well as a Rift's Echo and several Advice of Valks.

The update also brought in Ancient Weapons, which will be appearing in the Season Servers. Players need to defeat these weapons, as well as their Boss, in order to get several loots, including enhancement materials.

Finally, it also giveaway a 30% EXP bonus for players that has Seasonal Characters that have hit Level 60, and rewards for every Weekly Quest completion, as well as additional special zone quests that can be accessed if they hit Levels 57 to 60.
