Wargaming.net released the patch notes for World of Warships: Legends' Holiday Update, revealing new additional in-game content such as a new Campaign, as well as new ships.
The said update will also give the players of the multiplayer naval warfare-themed online game the opportunity of renting several warships, as well as new set of cosmetics, loot crates.
What to Expect
One of the additional in-game content that the Holiday Update bring to World of Warships: Legends is the "Theseus' Bane" Campaign.
In the said Campaign, according to a post in the game's website, the British Legendary cruiser, Minotaur, will be up for grabs for players who want to participate, especially for those who have an Admiralty Backing.

Aside from the cruiser, they will also get other in-game items such as 30 Rare and 20 Epic Boosters, 20 each of Types 1, 2 and 3 Ship Camouflages, 29 Holiday Camouflages, 110,000 Commander XP, 3,950,000 credits, and 40,000 Global XP, as well 15 Secret Santa '22 crates, 5 Super Santa '22 crates, and other items like Promotion Orders, Insignias, and Commendations.
Those who do not have the Admiralty Backing can also receive hefty rewards during the Campaign, including 35 Common Boosters, 12 each of Types 1, 2 and 3 Ship Camouflages, 15 Holiday Camouflages, 330,000 Commander XP, 450,000 credits, and 4,000 Global XP, as well as 7 Secret Santa '22 crates, a Super Santa '22 crate, a British Commander crate, 10 days of Premium Account, a patch background and symbol, and other items like Promotion Orders, Insignias, and Commendations.
The Holiday Update will also give the players an opportunity to rent one of the 12 Legendary Ships for a limited time, which can be possible by paying 2,000,000 credits.
According to Bleeding Cool, this includes the brand-new Montana, as well as the Colbert, a fast French Firestarter cruiser.
The said ships will be available from January 17th to January 31st, 2022, while the other ships, such as the Japan's Yamato and Britain's Conqueror, can be rented starting January 3rd.
Ships like Shimakaze, Alaska, and Khabarovsk, on the other hand, is already available for rent since yesterday, December 20th.
If they do not want to rent a ship, they can get a Lion King George V-class battleship, which they can purchase for 25,000 Winter Coins, or one of the two new ships, the Tier IV Murmansk, which can be made in the Forge for 6,250 Steel, and the Tier VII Azuma, which will be available for 750,000 Global XP.
According to Dual Shockers, they can obtain this special currency by either completing missions, redeeming Windrose bonuses, play in the Arena, or acquiring crate bundles.
The Holiday Update also add the new Commander Guise cosmetic, which they can change the appearance of their non-event Commanders, as well as adding in other visual effects such as a signal flare when they sound their horns and colorful tracers for their main battery salvos.
Finally, the said update will also bring in the new Snow Storm skin, as well as the new Cool Wave and Seal of Winter camos for several ships, while they will add in more historically based Type 9 permanent cameos to several Japanese, Soviet Russian, and British ships, which they can create using spare Paint.
